This is one incident that proved to me, beyond any doubt, that all MPV's in Malaysia must be on the road this raya.
As part of the hariraya crowd, we were on the way up from Johor Bahru on the 3rd day of hariraya. We stopped to refuel and pray at the Machap R&R. As the parking bays were quite full, my husband had to park quite a distance from the main building. We decided to take turns to do our stuff. Me and the youngest make the beeline to go to the restroom while the husband wait in the MPV. We rather not risk any break-ins as there were a couple of laptops in the vehicle and words have it the crooks can sense their presense a mile away.
After about 10 minutes, my boy and I headed back towards the MPV. The husband was not in the car. Thinking that he must be somewhere close to take a breather, we tried the door. It was locked. We moved around and tried other doors, still locked. I peeked inside. Somehow I noticed that the content of the MPV is quite different from ours.... much more disorganized than I remembered. I decided to walk around the front and checked the registration number. Laa... its not OURS! Imagine the same car model, the same color parked at the same spot where ours were a mere 10 minutes ago...
Meanwhile, my husband who had moved the vehicle closer to the main building was grinning from ear to ear watching our antics... hahaha, very funny. Nasib baik alarm kereta tu tak menjerit!
